PUL Opens Book Of Condolence For Tom Kamara

The Press Union of Liberia announces the opening of a book of condolence at its headquarters yesterday, June 20 in honor of the fallen Publisher of the New Democrat Newspaper, Tom Kamara. The signing ceremony begins at 11a.m.
The Union mourns the loss of Tom and expresses sympathy to the bereaved family and staff of the New Democrat.
Tom was a journalist with a purpose, who remained consistently fearless and unbending in his service to humanity and his country.
He will be remembered as a crusading journalist who epitomized professional journalism in Liberia.
Tom Kamara died on Friday, June 8 at the St. Luc Hospital in Brussels, while en route to the Netherlands for medical treatment.
He was flown back home on Sunday, June 17, 2012. Funeral rites over his remains are expected to take place in Monrovia this Saturday.
