Tough Encounter For Liberian Senior National Team...As Under 17 and 20 Join For International Debuts

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has released fixtures of games involving the senior national team, Under-20 and under-17 national teams of Liberia to take place simultaneously from February to December 2012.
In February of this year Liberia had one international friendly football match with Nigeria and participated in a CAF qualifying of the African Cup of Nations scheduled for South Africa in 2013 when Liberia defeated Namibia a goal to zero at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on February 29, 2012.
Other fixtures involving the senior national team, the Lonestar will be in succession and as of June there will be three different games both at home and away.
In June, Liberia will travel to Senegal to honor a World Cup qualifier and return to Monrovia to host Angola in the same qualifier and conclude by travelling to Namibia to take part in the return leg of the African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The final 3rd round begins in September 2012 while other matches to be played will be announced by the LFA.
Both the under-17 and 20 will be heavily involved in series of competitions.
In April of this year, the under-20 national team will travel to Niger to face the return leg of the African Cup of Nations Under-20 competitions.
In July 2012, the under-20 side of Liberia will host its Senegalese counterparts in an African Cup of Nations qualifier and in August travel to Senegal to conclude the first leg tie.
Other games pending are the under-17 encounter with Benin, and Cameroon scheduled for September, October and December 2012.
In a related development, the President of the LFA Musa Bility is said to travel to Zurich to attend Fifa Conference. According to the Henry Flomo Communication, Director of LFA said details concerning the travel of the LFA president will be available as soon as possible.
