The 2-0 victory against the Cranes of Uganda by the Lone Star has boosted the moral of the Red, White and Blue.

According to hundreds of fans of the Lone Star on Monday after the victory on Sunday when they trashed the Cranes of Uganda at the SKD, many of them called for immediate support for the Lone Star.

The Liberians, mainly youths and the elderly praised the boys for showing their talents to the world that indeed, Liberia can emerge again in Africa and the world at large after being the first African country to produce the first World's best ever in football history with Soccer Legend, George Weah wearing the crown.

According to Alfred Quiah, a resident of Harbel shortly after the game, he said, “I have been a follower of the Liberian football for a number of years.” He added,” I see potentials in the young lads (the young players) even though they play in other leagues that are not up to standard as the English League the Premiership, the Spanish League the Laliga and other competitive leagues in the world.”

Sunday's game was very important for Liberia's preparation to qualify for the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Liberians in and out of the country jammed the SKD Sports Stadium in support of Lone Star to victory.
